I am a visual storyteller, using technology to create videos and graphics tailored to different audiences. This may mean crafting presentations, adding animated data visualizations to a map, or filming subject matter experts to educate the public on a pending project.
My capabilities include, but are not limited to:
Managing the video production process through the development/ideation, pre-production, production, post-production, and promotion/distribution phases
Communicating with clients on budgets, schedules, and progress reports
Experience managing direct reports and contracted editors, producers, and agencies
Conducting interviews with video subjects on location
Creating web-friendly motion graphics and animations for storytelling
Producing animated maps based on geospatial data and engineering designs
Writing scripts and copy for social media
I consider myself more of a Swiss army knife when it comes to content creation and have experienced all aspects of media production as the video lead at my job.
